Principal's Message

Welcome to Thomas County Academy
Welcome back to Thomas County Academy, and happy New Year! As we begin the second semester and step into 2026, we do so with renewed focus, purpose, and optimism for what lies ahead.
This is an important stretch of the school year. For our seniors, the finish line is in sight, and every day matters as we march toward graduation. Consistent attendance, staying current with coursework, and finishing strong will be key to crossing that stage prepared and proud. For our underclassmen, this semester is about earning credit, building momentum, and taking meaningful steps toward future graduation goals.
Attendance and engagement remain critical for all students. Being present, participating fully, and keeping up with assignments are essential habits that lead to success—not just this semester, but well beyond the classroom.
The year 2026 holds special significance for our community as Thomasville celebrates its bicentennial. It’s a reminder of the rich history around us and the responsibility we share in shaping the future. At Thomas County Academy, we are excited about the opportunities ahead and committed to finishing the year strong.
For families and students seeking a fresh start or a new educational environment, Thomas County Academy offers a unique, supportive learning experience focused on growth, accountability, and achievement. We are proud of who we are and where we are going.
Thank you for being part of our school community. Let’s make this semester one defined by focus, effort, and success.
As always—Go Yellow Jackets!
